Favourite Golf Course -Marlwood Golf and Country Club
Very nice course and reasonably priced compared to the upper echelon courses such as Monterra over in the Town of Blue Mountains. Great clubhouse and they have a very inviting pool and patio. Even if you don't golf, I recommend that you go over and have lunch on the patio overlooking the pool.

Favourite Ice-Cream Outlet - Mr. Norm's Nephew
Located at 1004 Mosley St. Head towards the main Beach area. Drive past Wasaga Dairy and it's just up on your left.
Yogurt and Ice Cream hand pressed with frozen ingredients. What? Just go check it out. It's the best in the beach, for sure. (Summer season only)

Favourite Patio (not on the Beach) - The Dyconia Resort Hotel
The Dyc has a great patio overlooking the Nottawasaga River. The grounds are well kept and the food is fantastico. When the beach is going wacky you can have a relaxing afternoon with a long cool one and some gastronomic fare. (The Dyconia is open year round but the patio is open in the Summer season only.)

Best Pizza - Firehall Pizza Co. Village at Blue (Blue Mountain Resort). A barrage of authentic gourmet Pizzas.

SOME GOOD ADVICE

Let's talk food for a bit. Do you have any British in you? Trust me, say yes. Fish and Chips. The best in the area would have to be "The Admirals Post" in Collingwood. The Halibut of course and the fries are fresh cut. Yes!

And if a Roast Beef Dinner tickles your gastronomic needs, I say go to "The Dyconia" in Wasaga Beach on Sunday nights for the best in town. You even get that pudding thing. Hutch didn't pay me to say this, honest.

And in closing. If you are on the beach and want something quick. I'm not kidding now. The Burger King in Wasaga Beach is actually a great place for fast food. The management runs a tight ship and the quality level is above average.

Is life getting you down?
Maybe it's time to come to Wasaga Beach!
